Originally designed in 2020, the Frisee chair is one of Billiani’s most iconic pieces thanks to its frivolous design features and the array of colours it can be lacquered in. 

The delicate wave detail in the backrest peeks up over table edges to offer visual playfulness. The bulb end legs resemble drops of paint thickening just before they drip off a brush, a charming nod to the wide range of lacquered finishes available for the chair.

When this chair was showcased in Milan earlier this year, our team on the ground excitedly sent photos to our team, highlighting the vibrant colours and various upholstery options displayed at Salone. They brainstormed ideas for incorporating the chair into hospitality projects, lively dining rooms, and boutique hotels.
